We joined the new tour with big expectations, and Jens got a win like we expected.
In stage 1 we even got 2 guys in the top 10.
Sporleda got injuried a few hours before the race began, so it went well with 5 guys.
But after stage 3 it started to rain in Spain and everything went wrong for us.
On the wet roads Lattas went down hard, and had to go to the hospital.
Luckely he is ok now, but he needs to rest and may start training again on day 49.
We hoped to get a small result in the TT, but we shouldn't have said that to the riders.
Waesbergen and Kaczmarczyk took every risk there was resulting in a trip to the hospital again.
Waesbergen also out untill day 49 and Jacenty even longer.
The doctor said he had to take a rest for atleast 9 days and then he should slowly start racing again.
So we lost 4 riders for 5, 6 and 9 days.
Luckely this wasn't the team signed up for Essex Tour, the only thing Waesbergen and the lead ou train can do now is rest and hope for a fast recovery.
There is also positive news in the team, we decided to race Southampton - Croydon for our English fans.
We decided to race here because we need to gain some populairity in England so Gillis will get some more support at Essex.
Gillis himself decided to rest untill the start of Essex, just like our sprinters.
Roni Bosmans will also start here but on practise, he needed a race after training a few days.
He will go back training again after this race, probably our only not injuried sprinter that has no plans yet will join him and give him some advise about sprinting and how the be as fast as possible on flat roads.
For now it's time to rest again for the team, but we will wake up just before Essex, so expect us there!

Pff, a lot of bad luck there! Were Jens and Kaczmarczyk on practice in the Vuelta TT? I ask because Nijholt and Claudemiro were there on practice and got injured. And there seems to be a string of injuries in TT's while riding on practice...
